'Amaranthine' 2017, Amaranthine series, Digital Photograph

Encapsulating nature’s defiant fight against harsh conditions, which results in the production of a natural red - purple colouring, this series echoes the achingly beautiful decay of nature through the deterioration of pixels through heavy infrared processing. The works encapsulate transitional or ‘twilight zones’; places of the in-between.  Interrogating the obscure narrative embedded within the landscape, and seeking to uncover a hidden 'truth' within a world of 'crafted reality', I invite viewers to bring their own experiences and interpretations to the work.
