Australia is the place I call home ... but it is the lands far from the city and populated vistas that I really feel a connection with. Though this is not my country ... I am not a traditional owner of this place ... this earth ... these trees ... they have a life, a story, a history not my own.
I walk these lands as a stranger ... as if seeking asylum ... I listen to the voices ... gazing into the unfolding expanse ... |
